The New Talk - The New Age of Journalism

BAU Faculty of Communication and namely the department of New Media intends to organise a series of conferences titled    The New Talk - The New Age of Journalism"   starting from April 2015, about " up-to-date issues of media".

The objective is as follows: 
  • Opening a new debate on up-to-date issues of media, and proposing new models,
  • Armed with leading journalists and new media experts aims to project  current media problems in Turkey with references to global media environments.
  • Developing an understanding  for  issues of crisis and  proposing solutions to the  emerging  questions of media with illimitable opportunities mediated by new  technologies,
  • Spreading the  global debate through various media and getting global feedback for further debates.
On each panel discussion, two main speakers will present their “talk” which will be opened to debate with the audience in Q&A section. Interested social media users will also be able to participate to debate via internet.

The  series of events  are planned to take place in April and May with all the good intentions.  BAU New Media department is busy with the organisation of the event. The exact dates and time will be announced respectively. Below you can find the projected key note speakers in correspondence.
